Fun Fact: Supposedly, “after the 1938 radio broadcast of Orson Wells’ The War of the Worlds, National Guard troops were stationed around the hills in Watchung.” And per The New York Times, “during the Revolutionary War, to a lookout point in neighboring Green Brook.”
